The Draft Location Submission Process
Anyone in the league can submit a location. Please submit a Draft Plan to the commissioner with the following elements included:
1. Location
2. Lodging/Lodging Cost
3. Draft Location/ Cost
4. Food/Logistics
5.Wifi
6. Other perks
7. How to get people there/back, how travel will work
8. Per person estimate of cost
Some restrictions:
1. Basically there are two major costs for people coming to the draft. Airfare and Hotel. Your draft location basically has to remove one of those, or offer one significantly cheaper, to fit under budget. Keeping it in the midwest keeps it driveable for the majority of the league, and gives a lot of travel options for those outside.Think of a line between KC, CHI, MSP, DEN as your general boundaries for midwest drivability.
1a. If you are interested in submitting a draft location outside the general boundaries, you have to have a situation where you can get rid of a major cost to keep the price within the general constraints.
2. Keep the cost of the draft under 650 dollars per person, including airfare. Lower is better
3. Wifi for the actual draft, where and how we would do the draft, and how remote drafters would work.
4. Not in Des Moines.
When you send your submission with all the details, make sure you've called/emailed all the applicable parts of your idea (hotel, cabins, draft location, whatever), and that our group could be accommodated.
