Bianchi's Holzfallers have plowed their way through the President's league this year to secure the championship and the right to hold the Gavel. This team also secured the Highest Points in the Regular Season award for the President's League, showing that it wasn't just a fluke that he came out on top. Last year this team wasn't even in the President's - any team can come from the bottom to win out.
Now for some end of season wrap up. First off, as new champion, Bianchi will have approximately another week to come up with three draft locations that we will vote on. Also, if you have any changes or ideas about the structure of the league, feel free to send them my way. Be warned, that any scoring changes will probably not go through as I don't want to mess with standard scoring for simplicity's sake.
In a week or so, after the locations have been selected, I will be sending out the survey to see where we will go and what weekend will work, so watch for that.
Payments for all prizes have been doled out, and the first stages of this year's league champions' jersey order are in progress. Hopefully we can get those turned around by the beginning of Feb. All four champs have elected to get their jerseys, so we should see quite a few more this next draft.
Sidenote - the offseason is a good time to get your franchise done, plenty of time to think about it.
The amount of content on the website fell off completely after Week 11, so I'm going to try and figure out a better way to get content on here regularly. I can't write it all, and at some point people just stopped writing anything for the weeks they were supposed to. Hopefully we can fix that next year and have more stuff available.
I will be compiling and updating the website with updated franchise and league records in the next month- it's about half done and I'll be working on it over the next couple weeks.
Below this are our final season standings, as well as the relegation structure for next year. Denton lucked out since Hanus is gone and only got moved to White instead of Gold.
Lastly, thanks for playing again this year, except for getting my ass kicked it was fun as always. I appreciate everyone being onboard with all the ideas I have for the league and I'm looking forward to the Draft next year.
P.S. - Freese is our new Piss Boy, so soon we should have another entry in the Gallery of Failure.
